Eyelash Extensions Aftercare

Take care of your eyelashes here at Laser Lipo Beauty. Your eyelashes are precious and - while a delicate and subtle facial feature - serve to enhance your appearance when properly cared for and well maintained.

We apply individual lashes to your own natural lashes with a semi-permanent bond that allows your lashes to behave normally, stay flexible and look completely natural, and by following our aftercare instructions you'll be able to ensure that your new lashes are long lasting and stay looking beautiful.

  •  It's important that for the first 24 hours you don't let water to come in contact with your lashes, which means avoiding steaming your face or using a steam bath, swimming or washing your face with hot water.

  • Using waterproof mascara or mascara remover will affect the bonding of the lashes, so these products should not be used. Water-based mascara, however, can be applied, but only to the lashes tip.

  • After cleansing, pat dry your lashes and avoid rubbing your eyes when washing your face. Occasional sauna use is fine, but going on a daily basis may mean that lash maintenance is required earlier than normal, as the lashes could prematurely fall off or tilt in a different direction from your natural lash.

  • Don't perm or curl your lashes - this not only breaks the newly applied lashes, but your natural lashes as well.

  • Please also note that due to the lifecycle of a lash being approximately 90 days, we recommend that your maintenance appointment should take place 2-3 weeks after your initial treatment to ensure maximum fullness.

We offer our eyelash extensions to clients in Surrey and Sussex, and if you have any addition concerns about proper eyelash aftercare, just get in touch - we want to see your new lashes last as long as they possibly can, and we'll be happy to help.

NOTE : Due to life cycle of a lash being around 90 days, We recommend that your maintenance appointment should be around 2-3 weeks to ensure MAXIMUM fullness. Not following correct aftercare can cause premature loss of lashes.
